We're always looking for great people!

We are a small, but mighty team at Coffee and Code. We expect our teammates to challenge us, help us grow, and show us new ways to solve problems.

We value personal advancement and help to support each other's growth inside and outside of the office. Our team runs local meetup groups, organizes and volunteers their time at events like Cleveland GiveCamp and Hack n' Akron, and shares our knowledge at industry conferences.

If you like a challenge and want to be recognized for your hard work and the passion you apply to your work, we hope you'll consider building great things with us.

We offer:

Open Positions

Lead Developer

We're looking for someone to take a lead role on project architecture, helping to scope and estimate projects, challenge and teach other members of our company, and who can execute no matter the challenge. Our projects are normally based in Rails, Ruby, Node.js, or heavy front-end JavaScript setups, thought we have worked in other technologies when required.

This candidate should be able to keep Jon on his toes, be passionate about leveling up the skills of the company, have experience deploying applications in production environments, and have a wealth of experience they can bring to conversations with clients.

Front-End Developer

If you understand how quickly technology changes in the JavaScript landscape, this may be the position for you. We're looking for someone who takes pride in the html, css, and javascript they work with. Someone who holds opinions and can help level up their team along the way.

Past projects have worked with libraries like Backbone, React, and Redux but we're open to differing knowledge and techniques that you can bring to the team.

We understand that our hiring process may not always line up with when you're looking for a job. Please feel free to introduce yourself at any time as we are always interested in meeting great people with the potential to make great things. We also may be able to work together in a contracting scenario at some point.
