The creator of all things usable and beautiful at Coffee and Code, Eric joined the company to focus on a more holistic approach to projects, allowing us to tackle new software projects from the ground up. Eric leads all design and user experience work at the company, and helps with front-end coding as well.
Before joining Coffee and Code, Eric was the lead designer at Blue Frog Gaming, a video game development studio in Akron, Ohio. He worked on a mobile and web-based games and managed a team of four other artists. He’s also been part of several agencies, working on brands including Smucker’s, Reynolds Wrap, SyFy Games, Jif, Duck Tape, John Deere, and McGraw Hill.
Eric led the Akron/Canton Meetup group for multiple years before handing off to Jon. He brought a sense of community to the Northeast Ohio area by setting up events attended by designers and developers alike.
Eric’s focus now is on helping companies look professional and modern while making things easier for their users. His current interests are designer/developer communication, interface design, and typography.
When he's not working you can usually find him hiking trails with his wife, their young son, and their dog Pica.
